Chilling footage shows the aftermath of a shooting at a North London church which has left a seven-year-old girl fighting for her life.
Witnesses described frantically trying to hide during the suspected drive-by attack, which happened as mourners attended the funeral of a mother and daughter who died within a month of each other.
Police this morning said they believe a shotgun was fired from a moving car - thought to be a black Toyota C-HR.
Four women, aged 21, 41, 48 and 54 were also taken to hospital with serious injuries, with the 48-year-old suffering potentially life-changing injuries, police said.
A second girl, aged 12, was also treated for a minor injury after the horrifying attack at St Aloysius Church in Camden.
A video taken inside the church moments after the attack shows scenes of chaos and panic as witnesses attempted to hide, MyLondon reports.
Funeralgoers can be heard screaming and seen running for their safety inside the church. One person says: "We need to get out."
Emergency services were called to the church in Phoenix Road, Camden, close to Euston Station, yesterday afternoon.
The congregation was celebrating the lives of Fresia Calderon, 50, and her daughter Sara Sanchez, 20.
Fresia died from a blood clot after a flight from Colombia to London, while Sara was first diagnosed with leukaemia aged 17.
A family member said she "gave up all hope" after her mum passed away.
One eyewitness said mourners were outside the church to see the release of doves when shots were fired.
Another told a MyLondon reporter at the scene: "It was chaos. It was horrible.
"No one knew if it was a bomb or gunman. We were looking for places to hide.
"We all just snuggled into corners where we could. We left after about 10 minutes, I did not dare [leave before]. It was not nice."
Police confirmed the seven-year-old was taken to hospital around half-an-hour after emergency services were called to the scene.
Paramedics and an air ambulance rushed to the scene and took the victims to hospital.
One resident, who lives near the church, said: "An ambulance helicopter landed in Maria Fidelis School to transport the wounded to hospital.
"There were dozens of police and ambulances blocking off the whole of Phoenix Road."
Another neighbour, who also asked no to be named, added: "There was a lot of noise, that sounded like pops, there was a lot of screaming.
"Then the emergency services arrived and the whole road was full of police and ambulances.
"It's a terrible thing to happen, no one can quite believe it, it's the sort of thing you see in a movie."
Scotland Yard said at this stage no one has been arrested and an appeal for information has been launched.
Superintendent Jack Rowlands said officers were called to Phoenix Road at around 1.30pm on Saturday where a memorial service for a young woman and her mother was taking place.
He said: "They found multiple people with injuries caused by pellets from a shotgun.
"Four women, aged 21, 41, 48 and 54, were taken to central London hospitals. Thankfully their injuries were assessed as non-life threatening. The 48-year-old woman has sustained potentially life-changing injuries.
"Two children were also injured. A 12-year-old girl sustained a leg injury. She was treated at hospital before being discharged yesterday afternoon. She is expected to make a full recovery.
"A seven-year-old girl was more seriously injured. She remains in hospital in a stable but life-threatening condition, and our thoughts are with her and her family.
"We believe the suspects discharged a shotgun from a moving vehicle, which was a black Toyota C-HR, likely a 2019 model or similar."
