The UK entry for Eurovision this year, Sam Ryder has been warmly welcomed by the Eurovision crowd in Italy as well as for supporters back home in the UK. Commentator of the UK broadcasting of Eurovision, Graham Norton, highlighted how Sam Ryder has done a lot to change the negative perception that the UK has had in Eurovision in recent years.

Showing his welcoming personality, Ryder ended his performance by boldly shouting ‘shine brightly my friends- thank you all’. Graham Norton then shortly followed up by commentating ‘’A powerhouse performance’’.
