Eurovision semi-final 2: When it's on, where to watch it and who's competing in Turin

Eurovision 2022's second semi-final is taking place tomorrow night (Thursday, May 12) with 18 more countries competing to reach the legendary grand final. On Tuesday, during the first semi-final, 10 countries qualified for the final which will take place in Turin, Italy, on Saturday (May 14).

These 10 acts are: Switzerland, Armenia, Iceland, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, Greece, Ukraine, Moldova and the Netherlands. They joined the Big 5 countries - the UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy - which automatically qualify each year.

But tomorrow the finalists will be joined by 10 more acts who make it through the second semi-final. The semi-final will be presented by this year's Eurovision hosts Italian TV presenter Alessandro Cattelan, Italian singer Laura Pausini and Lebanese-born British singer Mika. It is understood that Mika and Laura Pausini will perform a duet during the interval.

Who's competing in Eurovision's second semi-final?

The acts competing in the second semi-final are: Australia, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Finland, Georgia, Israel, Malta, San Marino, Serbia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania and Sweden.

When is Eurovision 2022 semi-final 2 on and how to watch it?

The second semi-final takes place tomorrow from 8pm. You can watch it live on BBC Three. The UK hosts this year are Scott Mills and Rylan Clark.

Can UK viewers vote during the second semi-final?

Eurovision fans were not allowed to vote for their favourite acts during Tuesday's first semi-final, but they will be able to on Thursday. Viewers can vote by telephone, SMS and through the Eurovision app. More details will be available during the shows.

The Eurovision 2022 grand final will be on BBC One on Saturday, May 14, from 8pm.
