TikTok sensation Sam Ryder says he wants to bring 'positive energy' to the Eurovision Song Contest stage when he represents the United Kingdom in Turin. The 32-year-old says he wants to bring the same 'intention' he shows on the social media platform to his performance.
Sam, from Essex, will represent the UK in Turin performing his uplifting pop song Space Man. It comes after the singer found social media success during lockdown amassing more than 12 million followers - making him the most followed UK musician on TikTok.
He connected with his followers by singing directly into his phone. This won him a host of famous fans including Justin Bieber, Sia, and Alicia Keys.
