New information has been released regarding the Eurovision Song Contest fan zone.
A letter was written by Councillor Nick Small to inform residents of Mann Island of the licensing application for Pier Head. The location serves as a small residential area but will double as Europe's largest fan zone during the Eurovision Song Contest in May.
Mr Small met with the Culture Liverpool team to discuss the licensing plans for the fan zone to ensure "residents' interests are protected too."

In an open letter shared online, it gave more insight into aspects such as opening and dispersal times. The letter said: "The fan zone will be open for nine days and will close with the Eurovision final on Saturday, May 13.
"The fan zone will be family-friendly during the day and will broadcast the semi-finals and finals on a big screen as well as having personal appearances and music from performers.
"Other than for the final itself, all events will be free to attend. It will open each day at 1pm and will close with everybody dispersing by 11pm, other than on the final. This includes the two semi-finals on Tuesday, May 9 and Thursday, May 11.
"Everyone attending the Eurovision final on Saturday will be dispersed by 12:30am."
The Liverpool Eurovision fan zone is expected to hold a capacity of 24,999. It is one of many zones planned set to appear during the contest period with several in other major cities across the UK.
