Eurovision Song Contest excitement kevels are now at fever pitch amongst fans of the annual event ane the competition continues on Thursday night with the second semi finsl.
It's hard to believe that it's been a whole year since Ukraine's Kalush Orchestra triumphed in Turin, with them storming past the UK's Sam Ryder at the last second, after receiving a huge chunk of the public vote, after Sam topped the jury standings.
Sadly for the Ukraine, the Russian invasion of their country and the turmoil that has caused, led to the European Broadcasting Union deciding that they couldn't host this year, with the Eurovision baton being handed to second place UK.

That led to nationwide search for a host city with Liverpool eventually beating Glasgow in a final battle to stage the long running and world famous event. And now acts from all of this year's delegations have descended on Merseyside and the M&S Bank Arena for rehearsals as the countdown is on.
As has been the case for the last 20 years, there will be two Eurovision semi finals, with Eurovision semi final 1 on Tuesday, May 9, before the second semi on May 11, both of which be air live on BBC One in the UK.
