Chelsea's transfer business in the past year has been nothing short of hectic as the Blues attempt to rebuild with a new philosophy under their new owners. Boehly-Clearlake have put a clear emphasis on signing younger talent for the future, having spent £250million in the summer and upwards of £100million this month alone.
Things are far from ideal on the pitch though, with a number of injury concerns and underperforming talent leaving the side languishing in mid-table in the Premier League. It means a squad clear-out for Todd Boehly is on the horizon, with so many incomings already signaling such.
One that could be set to leave is Kai Havertz, who has struggled to progress at Stamford Bridge since making the big-money move from Bayer Leverkusen. “That’s the challenge for us," Graham Potter admitted when asked whether there could be an issue with how many forwards there are in the squad.

"We want to do better, want to play better, want to play better and get more points and wins. You need a squad that is balanced, that has the right amount of competition, and I think that he [Mudryk] brings that. Then it’s my job to make the selections.”
With Havertz struggling and a need to recoup some of the transfer fee paid, an exit could be on the cards and there is interest in his services. That's according to MediaFoot, which reports that European giants Bayern Munich are eyeing a return to Germany for the 23-year-old.
The German champions are said to be actively working behind the scenes to bring Havertz to the Allianz Arena in a potentially huge switch in the transfer window.
