Walsh will be next in the ring for Team Ireland as the Belfast fighter faces Italian Irma Testa at featherweight.

World champion Broadhurst takes on Croatia's Sara Beram later on the card in a welterweight bout before the light middleweight fight between Cork's Desmond and Italy’s Melissa Gemini.

The evening session sees light flyweight Fryers face Azerbaijan's Anakhanim Ismayilova, lightweight gold medallist Harrington take on Kosovo’s Donjeta Sadiku and Roscommon's O'Rourke clash with Sweden's Love Holgersson at middleweight.

Ireland have more boxers in the semi-finals than any other country, with seven surpassing the previous Irish record of three which was set in 2019.
