Good news for Brits on the hunt for holiday deals - a gorgeous sandy beach has just been named the cheapest in Europe.
Kleopatra Beach in Alanya, Turkey, is firmly on the 'must visit' list for summer 2023, and not just because it boasts ridiculously pretty views, soft sands and turquoise waters.
New research found that the average pint costs just £1.10 at the various bars that line the front, not to mention you can also find ice cream for just 10p.
You may want those sweet treats to cool down, as temperatures in the area are expected to reach up to 34C in July and August, although year-round they stay at a balmy 24C so it really is a year-round destination.
For those after something a little more substantial, according to the study by Omio, you can also bag a light lunch for just £4.48.
Over on Tripadvisor, visitors have been urging others to book a trip, praising the beach for its clean sands, wide range of bars, and beautiful views.
"Lovely clean beach with plenty of sunbeds, several places to eat, and it can be brought to your sunbed if required," wrote one happy holidaymaker.
Another added: This is a really beautiful beach to spend the day at. Waves are strong!. Beach loungers, cabanas, Bars and cafes on sight. Deffo check it put if in Alanya."
A third said: "What a beautiful beach! Aqua blue clear water and a wide beach where you never feel like a sardine. Plenty of room and clean. Love the Palm Trees and the view of the cliff with Castle. Can't wait to go back!"
The beach itself is budget-friendly, but there's more good news as Alanya is already a popular holiday hotspot, meaning there are plenty of deals to be found no matter what your budget.
For example TUI has Alanya holidays from £233pp while Loveholidays has packages from £152pp - and if it's cheap flights you're after, Jet2 has flights from £70 each way to Antalya airport.
