England Women’s football star Lauren Hemp is due to make a special guest appearance on Hollyoaks.
Hemp, 22, was one of the stars for England after they secured victory the nation's first major tournament since 1966. The Manchester City forward started all six of the Lionesses' matches at the tournament which was hosted on home soil.
She scored one goal in the competition, the second goal against Norway in the second group game, and it was her corner in the Euro 2022 final which was bundled home by City team-mate Chloe Kelly - her first international goal for England - to help the Lionesses lift the trophy for the first time. England triumphed over Germany with an explosive 2-1 win at Wembley Stadium, in front of a European Championship record crowd - for men or women - of 87,192, on July 31.
