Euphoria 2: Gen-Z's pulp fiction of fashion and beyond

If you know.., you know…! Euphoria is here again, with its 2nd wave (season-2) palpitation of ecstatic feeling as a resemblance of struggle and promoting fraternity between fashion and Gen-Z pulp-fiction. A group of high school teens are so bleak, you’ll dread what will they bring out on screen next ? In a nutshell, dark yet addictive navigation of love, friendship in a world of micro to mega dosing of drugs, sexual tragedies, trauma, and a dark web of social media. Binge- watch in heartbeat is what this granular HBO drama drops this season.

It’s pretty lethal, so required caution will be in need to proceedings. If you are hooked on to the show creator, Sam Levinson’s melancholic personal storyline of drug addiction for years and still fighting battles with depression and mental health issues, which he has bravely confessed at the panel discussion. You will groove in his darkest waves of euphoric flaws through all the characters in the show, bringing out their eye- catching fashion moments and struggles in the midst of an emotional breakdown.

Levinson’s vision board

Sam Levinson’s vision and the storyline are persistent with fantasy throughout its power pack performances. Three female leads strike the code on a higher note along with all the other characters but can’t we just call one, in particular, the main lead?

RUE- Zendaya we are talking about, plays outside of her typical acting gigs, first season dropped in

2019 with the young actress immediately getting all hailing for her dope-sick performance.

Bringing her androgynous fashion-forward, this 25-year-old power girl says “ I got the script and

raced through that first episode, I read it so fast. I was just glued to it and felt so connected to Rue

immediately in some crazy way” being on Sam’s vision board from the start, she truly nails it

throwing 2nd round of euphoric act of relapsing, remitting and getting deeper into dealing with her

dilemma. Keeping her styling gender-neutral Rue is having a “déjà vu” of grief and resentment

towards failing to rise above her own internal battles.

Maddy - It’s Alexa Demi in curls of baby hair gel fix, gives us a reminder of time and focus it takes

to get ready for the day, to get to the high school class. Her wardrobe is lit with hyped brands like I

am Gia, mistress rocks, and pretty little things not to forget her Chanel inspired Co-ord from the

90s, halter neck tops, corsets, satin nightwears, fuzzy trim cami dress, white, pink crops with front

open splits, little body cut black dress In the first episode and baby blue set or cardigan with fur

trim, she definitely throws some major Gen-Z fashion goals in her crop tops and bell-bottom pants

with the baby curled sidelocks and high ponytails one can use as a rope for a raft or make a spear

with her calm and cold attitude. We applaud her technique and edge control in 2nd season.

Cassie- Sydney Sweeney admits the most gripping and chaotic storyline for her character, kickstarts

the season with her seeing Nate behind her best friend's back. The next few episodes drop that

greasy glow as her being wracked with anxiety keeps their relationship a secret. Her medium-length

dirty blonde hair mix of light brown highlights, blue eyes, and an hourglass figure gets styled in all

hues of blue in sadness loneliness and guilty of betrayal. Make-up has the basic foundation,

highlighters, mascara, and bright eyes to grab the attention of Nate. Her hairstyles are mostly wavy

or curled with French braids at times two pigtails portraits layers of sensitivity being a sentimental

young girl trying to seduce and feel ashamed at the same time.

All the other characters in the season are extremely strong with their own eccentric grips including

Fezco- a drug dealer kid with his sturdy slow accent being king of crackhead kiddies. His kid

brother ashtray escalating abilities of violence from an early age, Lexi with her watt-pad rising

above her first season’s existence of a role. Kat in her glasses with sexual awakening in her neck

choker and little kitty mask, Nate having euphoric blackout dreaming of Cassie and Maddy in

bleeding broken teeth grinning smile or Jules in her furry backpack playing sex games with Elliot

swapping his friendship between two girls. The list can go on.

Frivolous in recent times’ fear and loathing of post-pandemic anxiety. Witnessing gaslighted ethical

evolution and youth managing in between mental health disorders. Euphoria season-2 will send you

to its Advocates of crucial creativity. Challenging the Dark fate of fantasy and brutal but still

wondering what’s going to happen next, dedicated viewers have taken the internet on fire. Yet

unpredictable finale is what everyone awaits.
