The European Union on Thursday imposed sanctions on Russian commentator Xenia Fedorova, whom France expelled in August over claims that she was disseminating "pro-Russian narratives" in the country.

Xenia Fedorova is now subject to European sanctions. The European Union has decided to sanction pro-Kremlin Russian commentator Xenia Fedorova, according to a notice published Thursday in the EU’s Official Journal. The former head of RT France is already banned from entering France over her pro-Moscow propaganda activities.
