Ethan Galbraith has been training with Manchester United's first-team squad ahead of their pre-season tour. The Red Devils are preparing to fly out to Thailand and then Australia.
Northern Ireland midfielder Galbraith spent last season on loan with Doncaster Rovers. The 21-year-old impressed in League One, scoring one goal in 36 appearances and grabbing four assists.
His future came under scrutiny following Erik ten Hag's arrival at Old Trafford. But it appears the Dutchman is willing to give Manchester United 's youngsters every chance to impress.
Galbraith and Shola Shoretire were among the young players to be training with United's first team at their Carrington base on Thursday. Also pictured at the session were Charlie Savage, Alvaro Fernandez, Zidane Iqbal, Alejandro Garnacho and Hannibal Mejbri.
Fellow youngsters Ethan Laird, Nathan Bishop, Di'Shon Bernard and Teden Mengi were also involved, according to the MEN.
Ten Hag is due to announce his tour squad on Friday. Cristiano Ronaldo isn't expected to make the trip, freeing up space for another young player to be on the flight.
