Alternative investments are becoming an increasingly important part of wealth creation as investors look beyond traditional stocks and bonds for access to emerging businesses, differentiated investment opportunities and potentially higher returns, Rahul Jain, President & Head, Nuvama Wealth Management, said at the ET Alpha Wealth Summit 2.0 held in October 2026.
Speaking during a panel discussion titled ‘Following Smart Money’, Jain said alternative investments should be viewed as a means of accessing underlying opportunities in equity and fixed income that may not be readily available through conventional listed markets.
