Fears are growing for a missing Ecuadorian blogger who has not been heard from for 10 days.
Estefania Carrera Barragan, 30, was last seen at 7pm on Barking Road, east London on April 16.
Friends said the nutrition expert had only moved to London in December.
The Consulate of Ecuador in London reported her disappearance, writing on its official Facebook page: “Her family hasn’t heard from her since.”
Estefania was described as being 1.80m tall with long blonde hair and brown eyes. The last time she was seen she was wearing black trousers, a white blouse and a black jacket.
The Ecuadorian national has four tattoos on her body. A phoenix on her forearm and a lion on the other, a Lotto flower on her chest and Arabic script on her back.
The consulate’s statement adds: “If you have seen her or have any news of her, please contact us urgently on 07580331084 or call the police on 999.”
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “Estefania Carrera was reported missing to police on Monday, 25 April.
“She was last seen on the evening of Saturday, 16 April in the Barking Road area of Newham.
“Estefania is 30 and is described as 5ft 9 with blonde hair. She is of slim build and is believed to have been wearing black trousers, a white top and a black jacket when she was last seen.
“While there is no indication she has come to any harm, her disappearance is understood to be out of character.”
