Inter Milan legend Esteban Cambiasso says only two Liverpool stars were 'superior' against the Serie A giants last night.
The Reds beat Simone Inzaghi's side 2-0 at the San Siro in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie.
After a difficult first half, Roberto Firmino opened the scoring on 75 minutes before Mohamed Salah added a second just under 10 minutes later.
The hosts certainly had Liverpool on the ropes at times and, despite Jurgen Klopp's men taking a 2-0 lead back to Anfield, Cambiasso believes only two Reds impressed on the night.

“Dumfries and Perisic were, for a large part, superior to Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold,” he told Sky Italia.
“But, even in the middle of the field, Inter did well.
“The only superiority of the Reds was between the two central defenders.
“It is no coincidence that the decline of Liverpool [last season] coincided in the period in which Van Dijk was out of action due to the injury.”
The pair were the subject of plenty of praise in the media following the victory, with some describing it as a 'defensive masterclass'.
Now Liverpool will need to make sure they get the job done in the return leg at Anfield on March 8.
