Estadio Akron is one of three Mexican stadiums selected to host matches at World Cup 2026 and will be the venue for four matches, including co-host Mexico's group stage clash against South Korea.

It's one of 16 World Cup 2026 venues across the Canada, Mexico and the United States, Mexico and Canada, and is the smallest of the three Mexican grounds to be used this summer.
