ESPN’s NBA broadcasting carousel continues to spin.
The network is closing in on a deal with former Golden State Warriors general manager Bob Myers to join its NBA pregame show “NBA Countdown,” according to the New York Post.

Myers stepped down from his role with the Warriors in May after steering the franchise to four championships since 2015. It was under Myers’ tenure that the Warriors drafted their core trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. He also signed head coach Steve Kerr in 2014, and spearheaded the infamous acquisition of Kevin Durant during the 2016 NBA offseason.
Myers has already been doing some media work. Last season he hosted the podcast “Lead By Example” produced by Omaha Productions and distributed by ESPN.
ESPN’s “NBA Countdown” team changes are nothing new, and one of its longest tenured analysts, Jalen Rose, was included in the Disney (DIS) -) network’s June layoffs.

The New York Post also reported on Wednesday that Malika Andrews will be replacing Mike Greenberg as the NBA Finals host.
While it's unknown if there are any more upcoming changes, the other members of ESPN's "NBA Countdown" from last season include Stephen A. Smith, Michael Wilbon, Kendrick Perkins, Chiney Ogwumike, and Kendrick Perkins.
The NBA’s lead broadcast team during games is already expected to see a massive change as legendary play-by-play announcer Mike Breen will be joined by Doris Burke and former NBA head coach Doc Rivers. The latter two are replacing Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson.
