Michael Obafemi says he just wants to get back playing for Swansea City following his lukewarm reception from the fans after his transfer saga with Burnley earlier this month.
The Clarets made three offers for the Republic of Ireland forward - all rejected by the club - as the clock ticked down to the transfer deadline on September 1.
Ultimately Vincent Kompany's men didn't stump up the cash for a player Swansea valued both in terms of finance and importance to the squad. It means Obafemi will stay in south Wales until at least January, but the events during the final throes of the window had an impact on the striker, with head coach Russell Martin revealing he wasn't in the right frame of mind to feature for the club, leaving him out of two matchdays squads.

He was re-integrated for the Hull City game, coming on off the bench in a 3-0 win at the Swansea.com Stadium to a smattering of boos from the home crowd.
And away on international duty, the 21-year-old has now addressed the situation, having already performed a telling goal celebration in the match against Armenia on Tuesday night.
"Erm, interesting," he said, when asked for his reaction to that mixed reception, as reported by our colleagues in Ireland.
"Obviously I'm a Swansea player and happy there, but the main thing is to just get back playing.
"And that’s it, really."
Obafemi's international manager Stephen Kenny spoke out in support of his player last week, something which the former Southampton man appreciated.
"Yeah, I don’t really need to get into too much detail but I’m thankful that he had my back," added Obafemi.
"I’m here and I’ve done well and that’s the main thing. I’m glad that he said what he said but, ultimately, it’s in the past now and we’ve got to move on forward."
Obafemi is likely to be involved when Swansea head to West Brom on Saturday.
