Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland will reportedly decide his new club within the next two weeks, ending years of transfer speculation.
The 21-year-old Norwegian has been one of Europe's most-wanted players since joining Dortmund from Red Bull Salazburg in January 2020 thanks to his blistering form. He's scored 80 goals in 84 games for his current side, winning the German Cup last season.
Manchester City are the favourites to sign Haaland, yet their Premier League rivals Manchester United are also in the hunt. Other interested parties include Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona, as well as Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
Haaland is believed to have a £63million release clause, which is relatively cheap for a player of his quality and potential. Despite this, a deal could still cost up to £100m because his agent Mino Raiola and father Alf-Inge are both expected to receive huge bonuses.
According to the Daily Mail, the striker's next destination is likely to be revealed within a fortnight. City have reportedly discussed personal terms with Haaland's representatives and are willing to pay him in excess of £500,000-a-week.
Manager Pep Guardiola is keen to sign a new striker after failing to land England captain Harry Kane last summer. City could also be the perfect destination for Haaland, as his dad played for the Manchester club between 2000 and 2003.

Alf-Inge left Leeds for City just weeks after Haaland was born in West Yorkshire. The Dortmund ace grew up in Norway after his dad's Premier League career came to an end in 2003 and represents the Scandinavian country, yet he speaks fluent English.
"The last six months I have chosen not to say anything out of respect for Dortmund, but now the club has started to press me into making a decision," said Haaland in January.
"All I want to do is play football, but they press me to make a decision about my future, so that means I have to make a decision soon... I have to accept that. I have chosen not to say anything out of respect for the club and the fans."
When asked when he might make his decision, Haaland said: "Not now because we are in the middle of a difficult period with a lot of games. All I want to do is play football."
At the time, Dortmund were just six points behind leaders Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga and still had a chance of winning both the German Cup and Europa League. Since then, Bayern's lead has grown to nine points and their hopes of winning silverware are over.
Dortmund's Champions League place is almost secure. They're 12 points ahead of Freiburg in fifth with just five games remaining. As such, the German side have little to play for. It's now the perfect time for Haaland to reveal his next destination - if he wants to leave.
