Manchester City striker Erling Haaland could be in line for bonuses worth more than £5m if his record-breaking season continues along the same path.
The Norwegian frontman broke the Premier League's all-time single-season scoring record in midweek when he netted against West Ham. He didn't add to that tally against Leeds on Saturday, but City's 2-1 win leaves the former Dortmund star on course for a bonus with the reigning champions heavy favourites to defend their title.
The Premier League title could be one of three for City this season as they look to replicate neighbours Manchester United's 1998-99 treble. Haaland already has a number of bonuses locked in, but more trophies would mean even more money for the summer arrival.
According to The Sun, Haaland will receive a £1m bonus if City win the Premier League and another million if they go all the way in the Champions League. Pep Guardiola's men will take on Real Madrid in the semi-finals, with one of the Milan sides awaiting in the final.
Another £350,000 is on the line if City can win the FA Cup, where they will face Manchester United at Wembley. The other bonuses surround individual achievements, with the six-figure reward for finishing as the Premier League's top scorer effectively already taken care of.
Haaland's 35 league goals leave him nine clear of closest challenger Harry Kane, whose Tottenham side only have three games remaining. The Norway star can also pocket more cash for individual rewards, with the Ballon d'Or reportedly worth another £1m and smaller bonuses on offer for PFA awards, meaning there's up to £5.1m on offer in total.

Haaland insisted he wasn't obsessed with breaking more records after netting against West Ham. Dixie Dean's long-standing record appears in sight, but after the midweek win he insisted his only focus was on the next game.
"My head would become crazy, I would become crazy in my head so I don't think of this," he said. "I will go home now and play some video games, eat something and then sleep. That's what I'll do and tomorrow we have to start thinking about Leeds. That's my life."
City's top scorer passed up the opportunity to add to his tally against Leeds, though, allowing Ilkay Gundogan - on a hat-trick at the time - to take a penalty. The German failed to find the net, prompting some visible frustration from Guardiola, and the manager addressed the situation after the final whistle.
I don’t know. I need to talk to them," the former Barcelona boss said. "Usually, Erling is the first taker, Riyad is the second one, Rodri was involved. I saw it from the touchline so we will see what they say tomorrow."
