The FAI have confirmed two Republic of Ireland friendlies for November.
Stephen Kenny's men face Norway at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday, November 17, before travelling to Ta' Qali to face Malta three days later, the same day that the World Cup starts.
The Norway clash will be an opportunity for Irish football fans to see Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and Arsenal captain Martin Ødegaard in Dublin.

The Boys in Green are currently preparing to face Scotland in the UEFA Nations League at Hampden Park this Saturday before returning to Dublin to face Armenia next Tuesday.
Speaking ahead of the games, Kenny said: “The players were terrific in the last window. We had a mixed window, if you like – we started slowly and were disappointed, and then we finished strongly, and did brilliantly against Scotland.
“Both games against Ukraine were very evenly contested, so it is a big game, a great game."
