Manchester City duo Joao Cancelo and Erling Haaland each got their names on the scoresheet as the June internationals continued on Sunday evening.
Cancelo — who excelled for City in the domestic season just gone, netting three goals and racking up a very impressive 10 assists — scored to help Portugal register a 4-0 win over Switzerland and wrap up their first victory of this current Nations League campaign. He netted Fernando Santos' side's fourth goal with 68 minutes on the clock after Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored twice, and William Carvalho had found the net in the first-half.
Cancelo was teed up by substitute and City team-mate Bernardo Silva, so Manchester's Portuguese contingent played a key role in helping the country record a convincing win in Lisbon. It lifted them to the top of their Nations League group.

Elsewhere in League A, Group 2, Rodri claimed an assist as Spain twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with the Czech Republic in Prague. They required a 91st minute equaliser from Athletic Bilbao defender Inigo Martinez to earn a point.
City midfield enforcer Rodri claimed his assist in first-half injury time, teeing up Barcelona sensation Gavi for his first senior goal in international football. Spain have drawn each of their opening two Nations League outings, following Thursday's 1-1 stalemate with Portugal.
Meanwhile, Norway recorded their second win in as many Nations League matches, beating Sweden 2-1 in Stockholm, courtesy of a brace from incoming City striker Haaland. The 21-year-old scored either side of half-time to wrap up Norway's fourth successive win in all competitions. United youngster Anthony Elanga hit a late consolation goal for Sweden.
Elsewhere, fellow incoming City ace Julian Alvarez also produced an impressive performance, even if Lionel Messi dominated the headlines by scoring five goals to help Argentina beat Estonia 5-0 in an international friendly. The Paris Saint-Germain star scored twice in the first-half, including a penalty, before adding a further three goals to his tally after the break.
Although Alvarez didn't score or grab an assist, he started in a front-three alongside Angel Correa and Messi. It was just his ninth senior cap for his country.
