Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong will reportedly cost at least £30m to bring to Old Trafford should Manchester United wish to pursue a transfer.
Erik ten Hag was backed to search for a new right-back in January before Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s comeback to form. The defender was selected to play ahead of Diogo Dalot in both legs against Barcelona in the Europa League amid his solid displays.
He could get the nod for Sunday’s Carabao Cup final against Newcastle too, although it hasn’t stopped reports tentatively linking him with a potential move away. Should an exit unfold in the summer, United would likely search for reinforcement at right-back.

Frimpong - who has tallied five goals and seven assists this term, mostly as a wing-back - has been frequently linked with United. The 22-year-old is contracted at Leverkusen until 2025 but Football Insider says he could make an exit to United.
It claims his club want up to £50m for their player but the article claims negotiations could see him moving for as little as £30m. Frimpong was formerly of Manchester City’s academy before moving to Celtic prior to his switch to Germany in 2021.
Elsewhere, United are supposedly tracking the development of Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, according to AS. The 20-year-old has six goals from 21 league appearances this term and has attracted interest from United and Arsenal.
His club apparently value the starlet at around £26m, which is said to have piqued the interests of Newcastle. Veiga is being tipped to leave in the summer with Magpies scouts watching the playmaker against Atletico Madrid this month, the report claims.
