Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has told Erik ten Hag that Marcus Rashford will become one of the "best players in the world".
The United forward netted his 100th goal for the club in the 1-0 win over West Ham after Christian Eriksen's superb cross was met at the back-post by Rashford who powerfully headed the ball beyond a helpless Lukasz Fabianski in goal, as the United man became the 22nd person to reach the milestone at Old Trafford. His landmark goal sealed all three points for the Reds, extending their unbeaten run to eight games across all competitions.
It was the first time since January that Rashford had scored in successive matches for United, as he looks to capitalise on his recent improvement in form. Ten Hag hailed the 25-year-old as an "elite" striker after the match and the Dutchman has now been praised for his role in the attacker's improvement this season.
