Erik ten Hag has reaffirmed that his Manchester United philosophy will be underpinned by the need to "press all day", only adding to the uncertainty surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's future.
The Red Devils secured a 4-0 win over Liverpool at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Ten Hag's first unofficial game in charge on Tuesday. Jadon Sancho, Fred, Anthony Martial and Facundo Pellistri all found the scoresheet in a successful maiden outing for the Dutchman, as he got to see his United side in action for the first time.
It was a rather impressive display from the Red Devils, although Liverpool changed their entire XI after each third, meaning Jurgen Klopp's side were nowhere near their best. United, however, will also improve before the start of the season and were without last season's top scorer with Ronaldo still taking time out for 'family reasons'.
