Erik ten Hag has reiterated the importance of having a strong Manchester United squad this season.
United defeated FC Sheriff in the Europa League on Wednesday night and Harry Maguire and Donny van de Beek made their returns from a hamstring injury and a muscle injury respectively when being substituted on in the second half.
Maguire last played for United against Sheriff in September while Van de Beek's most recent appearance was against Liverpool in August, but the pair have now overcome their injury problems, which permitted their return against FC Sheriff.

Ten Hag was asked about the return of the pair ahead of the weekend and he discussed the importance of a strong squad.
And the United boss issued a rallying cry to the duo as he called on them to be "ready to battle and fight for this team".
"Yeah, it's important for the squad that you can make choices," Ten Hag told United's in-house media. "You need everyone, as you can not always avoid injuries. If so, get them back as quick as possible and they are back now and we are happy with that.
"We need them. We have to cover five more games until there's a big break, but they are tough games and we want to get into the right positions, we have a job to do as a team, so I'm happy that they are there.
"Every player in the squad can play a role, you saw with Garnacho and Antony Elanga, so we need all the players.
"They need to be available, ready to battle and fight for this team and club."
