Erik ten Hag sends message to Harry Maguire after Manchester United return in Europa League

Harry Maguire Ten Hag Erik ten Hag Europa League Manchester United Donny van de Beek Sheriff Van de Beek FC Sheriff Garnacho

Erik ten Hag has reiterated the importance of having a strong Manchester United squad this season.

United defeated FC Sheriff in the Europa League on Wednesday night and Harry Maguire and Donny van de Beek made their returns from a hamstring injury and a muscle injury respectively when being substituted on in the second half.

Maguire last played for United against Sheriff in September while Van de Beek's most recent appearance was against Liverpool in August, but the pair have now overcome their injury problems, which permitted their return against FC Sheriff.
