Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says he has a nervy 24-hour wait to discover if Luke Shaw is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after he picked up a hamstring injury against Brentford.
The Red Devils recorded a vital 1-0 win over the Bees to put themselves in the much-coveted fourth spot and leapfrog Tottenham in the process, but the game was not without its problems for the hosts given Shaw was hooked in the first half.
Shaw started the game and reached an impressive personal milestone as it marked his 250th game for the Red Devils. The achievement came just one day after the England international put pen to paper on a new deal with the club, extending his stay until the summer of 2027 at the earliest.
However, things hardly got off to the best of starts when he was shown a yellow card for clattering into Ivan Toney just 24 minutes in. It got worse around 12 minutes later. Shaw was hauled off in place of Tyrell Malacia after sustaining a hamstring injury, meaning his 250th United outing was one of his shortest.
Ten Hag will be desperate for Shaw to have sustained something minor that won't keep the England international out for long, given United are well and truly at the business end of their season.
With that being said, the Dutchman conceded he was not in a position to issue any kind of detailed update on Shaw's condition as the Red Devils face an anxious wait to determine the severity of the injury.

"In this moment I can't give anything about it," Ten Hag explained. "We have to wait 24 hours to make the right diagnosis."
An extended spell out of action for Shaw would be bad news for United, given they are preparing for a trip to Wembley to face off with Brighton at the end of the month in the FA Cup semi-final.
There is also the small matter of ensuring Champions League qualification by finishing inside the top four, something star forward and match-winner Marcus Rashford addressed after the game.
Pressed for comment on finishing in the top four, Rashford admitted: "That's the aim, we want to get as many points as we possibly can and we will try and win every game.
"We just have to keep playing well and give our best, keep recovering well and move on to the next fixture."
Ten Hag echoed a similar sentiment as he added: "Of course, this is a massive win for the Premier League, especially over Brentford. In 16 games they have only lost one. It is always difficult to play against them and to beat them but we did so I am proud of my team today.
"This gives us energy so we have to keep this and go to Saturday [against Everton], another big game."
