Erik ten Hag has warned his Manchester United side that they need to change if they want to beat Nottingham Forest and go on to win the Carabao Cup.
A late Eddie Nketiah goal saw the Red Devils lose 3-2 to Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday. The result effectively rules United out of the Premier League title race and attentions will now turn to other competitions in their bid to win silverware.
The Dutch coach was clearly incensed with his team's inability to hold onto a point, though, as he pointed to "unacceptable" mistakes made by his players made during the game. Ahead of Wednesday's semi-final first leg at the City Ground he said they need to change their mentality in order to win trophies.

“I am annoyed and I told the players if you want to win titles and medals, you have to change the mentality," he said after the final whistle. “You are in a top game and you are making such big mistakes.
“We started the game very well, scored, are leading and then make so many mistakes that are actually unacceptable. You have to feel the game, realise that the maximum we would take from it at that moment was a point and then take that point.
“You cannot give such a goal away as we did or you can’t win trophies. We’ve already seen how the mentality of the players has changed over the last couple of months. But we have noticed that we still have a way to go to get to the top level.
“They have to realise a game is only finished when the ref blows.”
