Erik ten Hag insists Manchester United are one of the 'most dynamic' teams in the Premier League

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insists his side are “one of the most” dynamic and entertaining teams in the Premier League.

While the Red Devils were as chaotic as ever during the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, they had appeared to be on course for a third win in the space of a week.

Antony had punished Clarets midfielder Sander Berge for a sloppy back pass to hand United the lead as they tried to keep ahead of Newcastle in the race for the top six.

Burnley, however, struck back with a late spot-kick from Zeki Amdouni after the Clarets forward had been clattered into by goalkeeper Andre Onana, who had previously pulled off a string of fine saves.

"Every team gives up opportunities,” said the Dutchman.

“But, when it is up to us, it is weird. We created loads of chances as well. We are one of the most dynamic and entertaining teams in the league at this moment.”

United were denied penalties of their own following a foul on Alejandro Garnacho, as well as a potential handball following Antony’s blocked shot.

“It is a penalty,” added Ten Hag on Onana.

“But, in the other box I have seen a minimum of three penalties. The refereeing is really inconsistent. If you take the penalty last week against Aaron Wan-Bissaka, why wasn't today? There was a minimum of one penalty against Garnacho."

United are a point ahead of seventh-placed Newcastle and head to in-form Crystal Palace on Monday night.
