Erik ten Hag dropped a F bomb live on air as he praised Manchester United 's players following their win over Liverpool.
The former Ajax boss secured his first English Premier League victory over Jurgen Klopp's men as an impressive United saw off last season's Champions League finalists with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford scoring for the hosts. Cristiano Ronaldo was a headline omission but from the first whistle United out ran and out thought their arch rivals, but the gamble paid off for Ten Hag as he got a huge reaction following the 4-0 humbling at Brentford.
Mo Salah netted in the last 10 minutes to set up a nervy finish but United held out to get off the mark and kickstart their campaign. Following the full-time whistle, the United boss couldn't hide his delight as he lauded his players for their scintillating display, stating on Sky Sports: "We can talk about football, but it's all about attitude. Now you see that we (can) bring the attitude on the pitch.
"There was communication and there was fighting spirit. Then you can see what they can achieve."
He then rounded off by catching the punditry panel off guard. He added: "You see that we play f****** good football."
