Erik ten Hag has already highlighted his concern that Manchester United attempting to sign England international players is outside the club’s transfer budget.
United are pushing for deals to sign Mason Mount from Chelsea and Tottenham striker Harry Kane, while West Ham United captain Declan Rice is also on their radar. Arsenal are willing to break their transfer record to pay £90million for Rice and offer him £300,000-a-week. Rice is their number one priority, but the Gunners will competition from United.
Kane, 29, is on United boss Erik ten Hag’s target list this summer as he is on red alert to sign a central striker at Old Trafford. United are desperate to sign an elite central striker and believe Kane’s contractual situation will mean that a deal is possible.
