Erik ten Hag has been forced to wait until the closing hours of the summer transfer window before discovering whether he can finalise his Manchester United squad with further additions.
United are set to sign Antony from Ajax after agreeing a €100million (£84million) deal with the Dutch club, while goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is set to join from Newcastle on a season-long loan arrangement with an option to buy.
However, as Mirror Football exclusively reported earlier this month, United are targeting further additions as they look to bolster Ten Hag's squad with several more players who will immediately boost the quality in the starting line-up. Yet any remaining deals are based on domino impacts elsewhere.
