One eye on Anfield?
There will be changes tonight enforced as much by the Liverpool fixture as the two taxing victories United secured against Barcelona and Newcastle.
Raphael Varane may get a breather and Casemiro has to come under consideration for a rest even though he has not been as overloaded as his teammates due to a three-match domestic suspension in February.
Bruno Fernandes is so remarkably durable he has never missed a United match through injury but he looked leggy at Wembley and it affected his performance. Marcel Sabitzer and Scott McTominay would be handy options to freshen up the midfield, especially if Fred is ruled out.
Yet Erik ten Hag has largely eschewed mass rotation and Casemiro even started against Reading in the previous round of the FA Cup.

Defensive dilemma?
It should come as no surprise to United supporters that David Moyes resisted starting Danny Ings as he persisted with Michail Antonio up front. When Ings finally started, he scored twice and West Ham secured their biggest Premier League win of the season against Nottingham Forest.
Moyes is still a stickler for agricultural football and Antonio drew a magnificent save from David de Gea in United's league win in October but Moyes has no choice but to select Antonio as Ings is cup-tied. Harry Maguire started against Moyes's side four months ago, although that was only because Varane was injured and Victor Lindelof was unwell and he could get the nod again.
Rashford rested?
Marcus Rashford came off in both games last week and United are not short of wingers to come into the side. The last time Anthony Elanga lined up in the league was against West Ham and he was the 21st man at Wembley on Sunday. Alejandro Garnacho was unused in the League Cup final and will be fresh to start.
While fortunate to be credited with the second goal against Newcastle, whether it is 24 or 25 club goals for the campaign, Rashford has carried the United attack and the risk is twofold: overload a player or reduce your goalscoring chances.
Marching on, on, on?
'Glory glory Man United' played at full-time at Wembley on a glorious day for the club on Sunday. Last season was the only campaign in the last eight that United have failed to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals and Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool have already exited the competition.
City are the favourites but United vanquished them in January and the defeat of Tottenham was the best performance by a United side in five-and-a-half years.
Rice to the occasion?
It was almost two years ago Declan Rice expressed interest in joining United to his England teammates Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw. No matter how much West Ham dig their heels in, Rice will leave within the next two years and with the club not out of the relegation quicksands, Rice's valuation is subsiding.
United are far from certain of signing a world-class midfielder in the mould of Jude Bellingham or Frenkie de Jong and Rice has the attributes to spend more time in the opponent's half than his own.
