United are weighing up a possible deal for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and are aiming to sign another midfielder, at least one forward and a centre-back. Moves for a full-back and a goalkeeper are also under consideration, depending on outgoings.

Fans have Ajax star Antony theory after post
United fans bombarded Ajax winger Antony with messages pleading with him to make the move to Old Trafford, after he was pictured with his agent in France on Thursday. The Brazilian has been in fine form for the Dutch giants this season, scoring 12 goals and adding 10 assists to help Ajax to yet another Eredivisie title.
His performances have led to speculation that he could be a target for his outgoing manager, with Erik ten Hag set to make the move to United at the end of the campaign. United will be in the market for new forwards this summer, with interim boss Ralf Rangnick suggesting they will need at least two more quality additions in attack.
With plenty of Ten Hag’s past and present players being linked with a move to join him at Old Trafford, Antony could be one of those of interest. The 22-year-old sparked more speculation on Thursday as he was pictured arriving in France on a plane with his agent, Emerson Santos.
