Eric Dane has "no reason not to be in a good spirit" as he battles ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
The Grey's Anatomy star, 53, went public with his diagnosis earlier this year but he has since been back at work playing a firefighter battling the same condition in medical drama Brilliant Minds - and Dane has now explained he didn't want his life to stop because of the neurodegenerative condition.
