Eredivisie send message to Cody Gakpo after Liverpool reach agreement with PSV Eindhoven

The Eredivisie have sent a message to Cody Gakpo ahead of his transfer to Liverpool.

The Reds have progressed to advanced talks to sign Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven ahead of the January transfer window. The ECHO understands that the Reds have agreed an initial fee of £37m, with add-ons taking the deal to more than £40m.

Manchester United and Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Gakpo in the last few months. It’s thought interest from other clubs has led to Liverpool making an early move for the 23-year-old.
