Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Ankara on Monday with Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, in the presence of Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Sentop.
The Turkish President welcomed the Speaker of the Shura Council, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries, and said he was looking forward to increasing the efforts to develop and strengthen them in various fields.
Erdogan sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and wished further development, progress and prosperity to the Kingdom and its people under the wise Saudi leadership.
Dr. Al Al-Sheikh reaffirmed the keenness of the Shura Council and the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye to strengthen the bonds that bind the two countries and to elevate parliamentary relations to new horizons.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two states.
