EPS pension benefit: Basic salary up to Rs 25,000 but no employer EPS contribution? Here’s where to complain

Employees who have started their first job with basic pay of up to Rs 25,000 are eligible for pension benefits under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS), 2026, subject to the applicable eligibility rules. If you are eligible for the EPS and your employer is not making the required EPS contribution to your EPS account, you can take up the matter with your employer, suggest the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) in a tweet on X (formerly Twitter).

If the issue is not resolved, you can raise a grievance with the EPFO through the EPFiGMS portal, says the EPFO in the tweet.
