Enzo Fernandez, Noni Madueke and Thiago Silva drop team news hints ahead of West Ham vs Chelsea

Enzo Fernandez, Noni Madueke and Thiago Silva have all dropped team news hints ahead of Chelsea's clash with West Ham this afternoon. The trio have posted pre-match graphic previews of the clash to their respective Instagram stories, as has Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Blues' official in-house media team have also included Kepa Arrizabalaga, Joao Felix and Reece James in their own pre-match graphic previews. David Moyes' side head into the clash off the back of a hard-fought draw with highly-flying Newcastle as they look to distance themselves from a relegation battle.

The Hammers are just one point above the drop zone. Chelsea, on the other hand, sit ninth and are ten points adrift of the fourth-placed Magpies; Graham Potter is plotting a late push for Champions League qualification so he'll be hoping that his new signings pay dividends.

Ahead of what is poised to be blockbuster bout, Potter previewed the tie. Speaking to football.london, the Blues boss said: "Whenever I watch West Ham and certainly historically they’re always tough games.

"David Moyes’s sides are always competitive and organised. Everyone knows what they’re doing, they have some really good players, they attack the spaces well, defend in numbers and defend well, set pieces are strong.

"So for us, it’s about understanding the environment, understanding the fact it’s a London derby and match whatever intensity is coming at us with our own, start the game well and try to take the three points."

With Felix returning from suspension, Potter has highlighted the boost the Portuguese star will give Chelsea. The Blues boss added: "It's great and we all saw the impact he had in his 60 minutes before the red card [away to Fulham].

"You can see his quality, see it every day. He is a player who can make a difference for us but we have to help him get integrated into the team, for him to understand what we're trying to do. But the signs are very positive."

While Fernandez, Madueke and Silva posting graphic previews of the West Ham fixture on their social media profiles does not necessarily mean both will start, it usually means they will be involved in some capacity. Follow live coverage of the game in our live blog here.
