ENVY’s VALORANT roster is almost gone: Demon1, keznit, GLYPH, and WKN all cleared to find new teams

ENVY has given three players (keznit, Demon1, and GLYPH) permission to explore new options while remaining technically under contract. Assistant coach WKNIt has also been given the same restricted free-agency status, which means all four join Rossy, who ‘left’ the previous day, in the same boat. If all five leave, the North American org's VALORANT roster could be virtually unrecognizable next season. Because none of the contracts have been terminated just yet, ENVY retains their rights while allowing them to hold conversations with other organizations. Demon1 wasted no time taking to X to share the news that he’s available for talks. The news comes just a month after ENVY released Canezerra after he was banned for a year by Riot.

What this means for each name on the market

Watch back some of Demon1’s best plays

The departures could cause a frantic bidding war, and it’s almost certain all five will have no problems finding new teams. Demon1 (who only signed for ENVY earlier this year) has been one of the more closely watched North American duelists in recent seasons, while Keznit, a Chilean fragger, is a consistent Tier 1 VALORANT performer who often goes under the radar despite posting elite numbers on the regular. Assistant coach WKN, meanwhile, will undoubtedly attract teams who need a guy that can help manage elite, high-performing players. It helps that he’s fluent in three languages, too.

With Riot Games having recently outlined details for the VCT's 2027 Open Qualifiers, teams across NA are beginning to structure rosters for the next competitive cycle. Five available ENVY-affiliated names hitting the market simultaneously gives rival organizations a clear opportunity to strike some early deals, though ENVY will need to agree to a release or transfer before anything is rubber-stamped.

Where ENVY goes from here

At this point, ENVY's VALORANT program is operating with practically no confirmed roster for 2027. The org doesn’t seem worried, though, and surely has plans in place; it could be looking to rebuild around new talent, scale back its VALORANT investment, or even exit the scene entirely. The fact that so many players have been granted exploring permission in a 48-hour window leads us to believe this is a deliberate organizational decision. A shake-up was needed. Change is afoot.

Even so, the breadth of this clear-out is striking even by offseason standards. Five people shown the door in two days shows the org has decided that their 2026 season didn’t meet the required standards. However, for Demon1 and keznit especially, the restricted free-agent tag means their next move depends as much on ENVY's willingness to negotiate as on their own preferences. Those are two of the more marketable names available in NA right now. Teams building for 2027 will be watching closely to see who makes a move first.

More clarity on each player's destination is expected as the VALORANT offseason roster window progresses in the weeks ahead.
