Britons who are tempted to take a dip in the sea this weekend, as the country continues to bask in the glorious spring sunshine, are being advised on a number of locations deemed unsafe to swim. As the mercury approaches 30C in some spots across the UK, people will no doubt be looking to cool off at their local bay.
But the Environmental Agency has released a list of areas which aren't up to par when it comes to water quality.
On its official Swimfo page, the EA shows a long list of locations up and down the shores of Great Britain where it is fine to swim, as well as the places you're best avoiding. And one North East tourist trap has been named lacklustre when it comes to water quality at the beach.
