‘Ensure medical supply to home-isolated’

Covid-19 CHANDIGARH Punjab

CHANDIGARH: In view of constant increase in the number of Covid-19 positive cases since last week, the Punjab health and family welfare department has issued directions to ensure supply of essential medicines at the door steps of the home-isolated patients.

The state registered as many as 671 positive cases between June 12 and June 20, and also recorded four Covid-19 deaths. The positivity rate has also gone up from 0.42% to 1.06% during this period. The total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the state reached 7,61,382 on Monday. tnn
