Central Pattana is holding "Thailand's Pride Celebration 2023 – Pride For All" campaign at all Central shopping centres nationwide, starting today until June 30.
Held in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Thailand and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the campaign aims to push Thailand as a global landmark for the celebration of Pride Month.
A global rainbow experience will be presented through many activities under the concept of "This Is My Look" from Galderma Thailand, while shoppers can enjoy collectable items designed for Pride month from Adidas, Calvin Klein, CPS Chaps, Guess, Nike, Casetify, and Comma And.
CentralWorld will kick off the celebration with the "Pride Fashion Parade" today at 4.30pm. Presented by Muse by Metinee, the fashion show will be led by Metinee "Lukkade" Kingpayom, an ace of Thailand's LGBTI scene, along with 500 popular artists and students.
They will later join the sensational "Bangkok Pride 2023" co-hosted with Naruemit Pride, which will present the largest rainbow flag parade in Thailand on Sunday from 4pm.
Other activities include "Made With Pride", a single market featuring fashion items, foods and concerts by leading artists from Spicydisc, from today to Sunday; a "Pride Talk" by key figures from various industries on Saturday; and the national costume round of "Miss International Queen 2023: A Creation" on June 19.
There is also an exhibit of an installation art created under the concept of "Seat The Pride" by artist Teayii Prapassorn. It will be displayed for two full months starting today.
Also, expect to see the Pride parade at many other branches. The "Central Khon Kaen Pride Parade" will take place on Saturday starting at 3pm. Joining the parade will be Miss Trans Thailand 2022, Miss Universe Trans Thailand 2023, Mister Star Krabi, Miss International Queen Laos 2022, as well as Miss Congeniality from Miss International Queen 2022 pageant.
Meanwhile, the "Central Phuket Pride For All" will be held for the first time on Sunday at 5pm. It will be followed by an LGBTI fashion show and a special show from Simon Cabaret.
Another highlight will be "Pattaya International Pride Festival 2023" held by Central Pattaya and Central Marina on June 24 at 3pm. The parade will take place next to Pattaya beach.
