A Rangers-daft Englishman drove 40 hours non-stop with a pal to join his dad in Seville - despite lacking a ticket for the Europa League final.
Theo Hill and Jordan Powers, both 30, set off from Blackpool late on Sunday night to join Theo's dad John and John's partner Catherine in Andalusia.
Their route took them on a ferry from Dover to Calais, through France and down Spain's east coast, stopping off in Barcelona for a couple of photos on the way.
Taking turns at eating up the miles in their BMW 3 Series, the pair arrived in the city at around 3pm on Tuesday May 17 - just over 40 hours after setting off.
And almost as soon as they've arrived, the pair will be setting off again immediately after Rangers take on Eintracht Frankfurt at the Ramon Jiménez Pizjuan stadium later tonight.
Theo is moving house on Friday, and is heading to Hampden to see Rangers take on Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final on Saturday - so there's no time to lose whether the Gers win or not.
Theo said: "We decided not that long ago that we were coming to Seville and we just hopped in the car and went for it. We barely stopped.
"Everyone thinks we were mad for doing it - but I'm a Scot at heart and I'd have kicked myself if I wasn't here.
"We had to be here for the atmosphere. The missus wasn't best pleased about it but just being here, supporting the team and the players, and being able to say we were here makes it worth it.
"The drive back is going to be relentless since I'm moving house on the Friday then we're off to the Cup Final on Saturday.
"But I'm what you might call a 'plastic Scotsman' - I'm not Scottish by birth but it's in my blood. I'm a Scot at heart."
Theo's dad John is a Glaswegian native who moved to Blackpool as a teenager and went on to establish the Blackpool True Blues Rangers Supporters Club.
In a sign of true belief in their club, partner Catherine snapped up their flights and accommodation for £560 on February 17.
This was moments after the Gers beat Borussia Dortmund 4-2 - before the team's route to the final was even assured.
And while he wasn't best impressed by Theo and Jordan's road trip, John is glad to have his son alongside him to cheer the Light Blues on.
"We've seen a lot of families and kids here so it feels right to have Theo here," he said.
He added: "I'm not happy he drove - but he couldn't miss this."
Jordan, who did the majority of the driving, told the Record the long journey had been worth it the moment the pair encountered the jubilant atmosphere in Seville.
"Everyone told us we couldn't do it, but we wanted to be here to cheer on Rangers and here we are," he said.
Rangers will face Eintracht Frankfurt at 8pm UK time on Wednesday for what could be their first European title in 50 years.
For those not lucky enough to make it to Seville, BT Sport has pledged to stream the match on their YouTube channel free of charge.
