England Women distracted by dancing as Lionesses win Euros 2022

Those watching the Women's World Cup final on Sunday were thrilled as England's Chloe Kelly scored the winning goal in the 110th minute.

The former Everton FC star appeared to be in disbelief, and had to double check the ball had gone in. Once she was sure she'd scored, however, she gave an incredible celebration.

The 24-year-old removed her shirt and ran up and down the pitch in elation. She then danced and swung the shirt over her head.

Fans quickly took to social media to celebrate, with many commenting on Kelly's unique celebration. Taking to Twitter, Anastazia said: "The way she had to check if the goal counted before she took her shirt off lmao".

Cyan said: "Iconic celebration tbh", while UKGYAL said: "Taking her shirt off like a proper lad lol". Charlotte said: "Big fan of that celebration. Huge."

Kelly, who became the hero for Sarina Weigman's side, spent two years with the Blues between 2018 and 2020 before sealing a switch to Manchester City two years ago. Introduced in the 64th minute of the match, her goal proved to be the difference between the teams.

Ella Toone had opened the scoring for the Lionesses shortly after the hour mark courtesy of a well-timed lob over Germany keeper Merle Frohms but Lina Magull restored parity with a composed finish inside the area to force another 30 minutes of play.
