England will have less than 3,000 fans at Hampden for their showdown with Scotland in September after their allocation was reduced.
Steve Clarke's side are on a fantastic run of form after four wins from four at the start of their Euro 2024 qualifiers.
They face the Auld Enemy on September 12 at Hampden in a match to celebrate the SFA's 150th anniversary with tickets snapped up immediately by an expectant Tartan Army.
And the SFA have handed the FA just 2,901 tickets in total for the glamour friendly in Glasgow.
The last time England played Scotland at Hampden, the FA received 4,784 tickets for the thrilling World Cup clash in 2017 when two late Leigh Griffiths free kicks were cancelled out by a goal deep in injury time by Harry Kane.
It means Scotland will have around 48,000 fans cheering them on for only England's second visit to Hampden in 24 years. with their last appearance coming in the 2-0 first leg win of the Euro 2000 play-offs in 1999, although they did win 3-1 at Parkhead in a friendly in 2014.
Scotland were handed a bumper allocation of 13,700 for their trip to Wembley in 2017 which England won 3-0, although they were given only 2,600 for the Euro 2020 clash in London because of Covid restrictions.
