Lawrence Dallaglio was critical of England’s attacking game in their 23-19 Six Nations win over Wales last weekend when speaking on his Evening Standard Rugby Podcast in association with Fuller’s London Pride.

Dallaglio feels that England have the talent to do so much more than they’re currently offering, but suggested that they’re not “maximising their potential as a group.”

The 49-year-old was joined by Ireland legend Brian O’Driscoll, host of the London Irish podcast ‘Exile Nation’ Bill Pulling as well as the Evening Standard’s very own Will Macpherson to dissect this weekend’s action from the Six Nations as well as the Gallagher Premiership.

There were some surprise selections from each of the panellist’s outstanding player of the weekend award, with two of those gathered plumping for players that finished last weekend’s proceedings on the losing side.

However, there was a Sean O’Brien story offered up by Pulling that is unlikely to surprise anyone who’s aware of the former Irish forward’s character and apparent preference for hijinks.

Catch up with all the action above or on the Acast site – and don’t forget to subscribe wherever you listen to your podcasts to keep up with the Six Nations and news from the wider rugby community.
