England has secured its place in the World Cup knockout rounds ahead of their final Group L match against Panama .
Their qualification was confirmed after Uruguay's defeat by Spain on Friday night.
Thomas Tuchel's team is guaranteed to be among the top eight third-placed finishers, ensuring progression regardless of their result against Panama.
England aims to finish top of Group L, which they can achieve by matching Ghana's result against Croatia.
Topping the group would set up a last-32 tie in Atlanta against a third-placed team, currently projected to be Senegal or DR Congo.
