Engineers delivering KCom’s network expansion are being kept safe, smart and seen by businesses where they are working after a partnership with two regional firms was struck.
The Hull telecoms and broadband giant has agreed a deal with city-based safety wear supplier Arco and producer ProGarm of Newport, East Yorkshire. It will see more than 80 civil engineers kitted out with top of the range safety gear, including specialist arc flash and flame-resistant PPE.
KCom engineering manager Ben Hassett said the safety of his crews was paramount while they continued to deliver world class infrastructure across the Humber.
